Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and if you love nail-art, now’s the time to start thinking about how you’re going to deck out your digits to celebrate the month of love! I’ve rounded up 10 looks that I love, from simple to extreme, colorful to black, and sparkled to matte.
Y’all, I’ve been sitting on this post for a year. It was supposed to go live on my 30th birthday. I had an idea for a huge birthday photoshoot for photos to go with the post. That didn’t happen. It still hasn’t happened. But, no more waiting. So, without further ado……
Today’s blog-post outfit doesn’t match the current weather. Oh how fickle the San Antonio Fall is. Damn near 90 one week, and dipping down into the 40’s the next. I guess that’s what I get for waiting so long to share this look!
I’m a sucker for this tropical leaf-print. I’m this close to wallpapering my living room in it. Too much? When thinking of where to photograph this gorgeous crop top, the Botanical Gardens were an obvious choice. If you follow me on Instagram and watch my stories, you probably know how much the minis and I love The Gardens, and how much we’re there.
In fact, I love it so much that I want you to experience it as well. Scroll through to enter to win your own family membership, so you can visit and fall in love, too!
I recently spent an afternoon with Katrina Clements, a student at UTSA, being interviewed for an article she was writing. What I thought would be a quick hour, slipped into 3 as we sat and chatted about everything from mom-life, blogging, and business. It blew me away to think that someone would take such inspiration from my life and my work, that they’d actually want to sit and listen to what I have to say.
Mentoring, encouraging, and supporting the young women of today; I think I’ve found a new passion.
Check out these high-tech photoshop skills, y’all (thanks InstaStories stickers for having what I needed)! I’m literally laughing out loud at this photo, but I’m loving the reason behind it.
I’m soo thrilled to announce that I’ve been chosen to be a part of the 2018/19 Riverwalk Royal Court, and will be fundraising for the San Antonio Riverwalk Association to claim the title of Queen of the Riverwalk! It’s no secret that the minis and I love the Riverwalk, we’re downtown so much, that we might as well live there!
When I first moved to San Antonio in ’08, after living in Europe for the majority of my life, I was pretty depressed, the culture-shock was real! One thing that really helped me was to immerse myself in the amazing cultura of San Antonio; the art, the food, the traditions (like Fiesta!), much of which is all Riverwalk-centric. San Antonio is now our home, and I take pride in being able to promote this city.
