Y’all know that I’m team NO CARDIO, and workouts for me aren’t a regularly-scheduled part of my life. Don’t get me wrong, a healthy lifestyle is a priority, being a mom of 4 always keeps me on the go and in motion, and fruits and veggies accompany all of our meals, but a set workout routine wasn’t a priority of mine. But when Orange Theory Fitness reached out to me to see ask if I’d like to try out their studio workouts for 8 weeks, my answer was YES!!!
My fitness goal for the year was to tighten and tone, and BUILD MY BOOTY, so this partnership with Orange Theory came at the right time.
Now 7 weeks into the program, I’m not kidding or at all exaggerating when I tell you guys that I LOVE these workouts! I’ve been going 5 or 6 times a week, and truly look forward to these chunks of time that are all about focusing on myself.
My arms have never been as toned as they are now, and I’m definitely feeling stronger. These 1-hour, high intensity, coach-led workouts are amazing! 3 stations (treadmills, weights, and rowers) keep the workouts varied and help train every part of your body.
Since my goal is tighten and tone, the weight room is my favorite part of the workout. The moves are always different so you don’t feel repetitive and new muscles are always being worked. Dumbbells, bosu balls, TRX bands – they have it all.
