*thank you to SeaWorld for inviting us out for the day
The minis and I have had such a fabulous weekend! This time of year, when the San Antonio weather cools down (from high 90’s to high 80’s), we’re out and about as much as possible. We spent all day Saturday, downtown at Chalk It Up, and all day yesterday at SeaWorld. This mama’s exhausted, but we’ve been having the best time!
While we usually have season passes to SeaWorld, this year we didn’t, and this was our first visit of the year. I forgot how much the minis love it, and just how much there is to experience. We joined in on the pumpkin patch picnic, painted pumpkins, did trick-or-treating, met a mermaid, and my favorite, saw the new Dolphin Cove area. We both, started and ended our day, there. See my little video of the exhibit, here.
During the day, it’s all kid-friendly fun, but after 7pm, things get a little more spooky. I’m a huge wuss, but if you like the scary stuff, SeaWorld has 6 different themed terror-tories, and 5 haunted houses. My 6 yr. old wanted to go back for all the scary fun; my 12 yr. old wanted to make sure we left before it happened.
Watch our full day, below.
The minis have already asked if we can go back. Looks like we need to renew our season passes.
