I’m incredibly honored to say that this past week, I stood with Texas State Representative Diego Bernal and San Antonio Mayor Ivy Taylor, to speak against childhood hunger here in our city and to support my client, Culinaria, their upcoming project, The Farm, and all they’re striving to do for our city. If you haven’t heard me say it enough, I adore my clients; absolutely love them! I only take on brands/business/people that I truly feel comfortable standing behind and promoting, and Culinaria (and CEO Suzanne Taranto Etheredge) is exactly that.
One of the services that I offer through my digital media firm, Champagne Taste Media, is event coordinating and hostessing. This night was one of my babies. I try to think of every detail and hand picked it all: location, chefs, a cocktail of the night, artists, musicians, thank you gift baskets…After about 6 weeks of planning, I’m so proud of how this one turned out! Click through to see my photo diary of the night.
Cheers to a fabulous night!
I have to take a second to thank everyone who partnered with me for the night to make it all possible: a few of my favorite SA Chef’s – Chef John Russ and staff of Lüke, Chef Brian West and staff of Smoke, Chef Geronimo Lopez and staff of Botika, Bakery Lorraine, the Youth Orchestra of San Antonio, the DJ, caricature artists, Truckin’ Tomato for the produce goody baskets, and of course, Chris Ware and Martin Phipps of Paramour, who so generously allowed us to invade their gorgeous roof-top space for the night. And to the elected officials of San Antonio who came to learn more about The Farm and show their support; Councilman Alan Warrick, Councilman Rey Saldaña, and Councilman Ron Nirenberg.
I’m all too happy to do what I can to spread the word about The Farm, it’s unlike anything you’ve ever seen before! Get a little peek into the innovative and sustainable food-growing technologies that The Farm will be utilizing by watching this TED talk by Caleb Harper, The Farm’s partner at MIT, and you’ll understand why I’m so excited about what Culinaria is bringing to San Antonio. If you’re interested and would like to learn more or partner together with The Farm, ask me about it; I’m more than happy to elaborate on the subject for you!
And of course, email me at Christina@ChampagneTasteMedia.com if you’re in need of an event coordinator/hostess. Find me on instagram @Christina_Coker and follow #ChampagneTasteEvents to get a look into some of my most recent events, and all the details and fun that go into every one!
